Explore the local area and see the seals at Newburgh beach just 2.5 miles away with adjoining golf course. On the farm there are cattle, sheep and arable crops. The grass fields surrounding Ewe View often are home to the cattle and sheep.

Door to the Shore is a modern day equivalent of a Bothy made from upturned boats used by fisherfolk as housing, situated 2 meteres from the slipway into this ancient harbour in Pitullie named Craighaven harbour. The picturesque fishing villages of Crovie, Gardenstown and Pennan (location for the filming of Local Hero) are nearby. Macduff has supermarket, bakery, post office, chemist as well as pubs, takeaways and a restaurant. Banff with its sandy beach, historic Duff House and whisky distillery.
