The Canary House -a Renovated Historic Hidden Gem!

Kick back and relax in this calm, just-remodeled space under the oak trees in historic Buffalo Gap. The master bedroom was a 1-room schoolhouse from the 1890's to 1914, where "Miss Sallie" Young taught (after she retired from 54 years in Texas public schools). After many additions and updates, it's now a quiet part of a Church Camp property (which you're welcome to explore). Perini Ranch Restaurant is nearby, as well as several other great places to eat - not to mention Abilene is 8 miles away.

Oma's House (Pet Friendly)

Oma's House is a peaceful retreat with historic charm, centrally located, and minutes away from the Abilene Convention Center, Downtown, SODA District, Abilene Christian University, and Hendricks Hospital North. The property features a large fenced in back yard, gazebo with outdoor seating and basketball court. Balls and chalk are provided for an impromptu game of hopscotch or four square. Less than a quarter mile away from ACU, our home is the place to stay when visiting Abilene. We are located near the Airport, Expo center, The Zoo and so much more. Tucked away in one of the quietest neighborhoods in Abilene, the Pool Oasis provides a refreshing and calm environment. Perfect for a family getaway or friends looking for a place to recharge. Our home features a cozy living space, a beautiful dining room and an entertaining backyard with a pool, grill and patio.

Our little unique bungalow is a smaller home located on Sayles Blvd. Right across the street from McMurry University, and under 10 min drive to most areas. We are on a busy road there will be road noise. We do have sound machines available. We do NOT allow pets. Parking available for NO More than 3 vehicles NO parking on the grass. Please note our parking can NOT accommodate big trailers or several large vehicles. Our home is on a busy street with VERY limited parking.

Backyard Bungalow

Private entrance! Very clean, peaceful and centrally-located Backyard Bungalow. Enjoy an extremely comfortable room, including a comfy queen size bed, futon, Wi-fi, TV (use your own streaming service), refrigerator, Keurig coffee pot, microwave and a large walk-in shower. Outside the Bungalow includes a patio and plenty of parking. The yard is a shared yard-space with the main house. I do have 2 very friendly dogs that do not share their yard with other pets.

Little House in the Backyard

This new backyard guest house is on a tree-lined street. Full kitchen with gas range is perfect for weekend dinners or to stay longer. The decorative welcome sign folds up to a table for two. The living room is a perfect place to unwind with WiFi and AppleTV or an assortment of books. It is pet friendly and can accommodate kids on floor pallets, if needed. This house is in our family's backyard, but we make sure you have a private stay.
