Redwood Sanctuary is located in the idyllic Oakland Hills with beautiful vistas, hikes, and parks within a short drive. The home is situated on half an acre of land in the middle of redwood, eucalyptus, and oak trees secluded away from other homes. Montclair village is an 8 minute drive, providing lots of great food and shops. Minutes from Highway 13 and 580. It is a 1 bedroom studio with a queen bed and a pull out sofa bed. Relax in our cozy cottage nestled in a serene garden setting, the perfect get-away after a day of business meetings or sightseeing. We are close to major Silicon Valley destinations; 30 minutes from San Francisco, San Jose and the beach in Half Moon Bay —with easy access to Highways 101 and 280, as well as public transportation (SamTrans, Caltrain and BART via Caltrain). Our quiet street is an easy 5-minute walk (0.2 mi) from downtown San Carlos with shops and literally dozens of restaurants.

The Redwood Retreat

Near Lake Temescal, Redwd Regional Prk, Bart, Hwy 13, Rockridge,Montclair, Dwntwn. We completely remodeled our guest house with a focus on short term tenants. Lots of storage within one of the most quite settings you will find. We made a thoughtful attempt to load the unit with everything u might need while away. The kitchen is functional to the point that you could actually cook a Thanksgiving dinner, multiple frying pans to crock pots a blender or chefs knives. Bathroom sundries abound!

Great space for a lovely trip to the Bay Area! Located in a very safe & quiet neighborhood of Alameda. The cottage has a private bathroom with shower (no tub), a kitchenette with microwave, and the most comfortable queen bed. Close to Oakland Coliseum, BART, SF, Oakland Airport, and ferry to SF. Great access to Bay Farm Trail and just a short walk to restaurants and shopping. ** Please note that the bed is against the wall, so if you are a group of two, one person will be against the wall.

The Purple Door, Private Sanctuary, Epic View

Private guesthouse located in the Oakland Hills with stunning views of the bay. We recognize the importance of privacy, this guesthouse will allow you to have everything you need all while never having to be bothered. The sunset views can be taken in from your bed or the deck. This 100-year old water tower in our backyard supplied water to beach cottages on our street. It's been renovated into a tiny home, mostly using reused or upcycled materials. We're happy to share it with guests looking for a quiet & unique place to stay in the Bay Area. It has its own entrance, private courtyard and is located one block from the beach, pinball museum, transit, farmers market, coffee shops & restaurants. You’ll love it because it's quaint and conveniently located.

Alameda Zen Cottage

This private zen cottage, is conveniently located near major ferry service, train,and bus lines to San Francisco and other cities surrounding Alameda. The cottage offers a outdoor private court yard area. Inside the cottage you will find a desk, living room area , queen size bed with cozy bedding, a kitchenette area with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, with complimentary tea, coffee and creamer, and last but not least the bathroom with a toilet and shower.

Take a break and unwind at my outdoor oasis. Experience Oakland and the Bay Area from a cozy cabin with tons of outdoor space, deck seating, fruit trees for picking, walking distance to some of the best tacos and pastries in the Bay Area. Easy entry to every part of the SF Bay Area with public transport (BART) 10 min walking. I live on property with my 6 yo and a few cats, but everything is self service with private entrance.
