This newly renovated cottage is in a downtown setting yet out of the bustle of busy city streets. It has a great view of the inlet and port, ands sits above the railyard. The bedroom has a KING size cool foam mattress and full bathroom with shower. On chilly nights enjoy an electric fireplace while cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. The large backyard has a deck with table and chairs, as well as a firepit. There is a desk to work at and high-speed wifi internet, plus a free parking space.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.

There’s a garden with fresh greens and herbs for your enjoyment and world class hiking and skiing within 10 minutes. Palmer and Wasilla are 15 minutes away. Healy is the “town” north of the park, so there are services, but no public transportation to get around.
