Very quiet and peaceful location - the only thing you will hear at night is the owls hooting! Miles of beautiful walks are on the doorstep, and we are also short drive from the Ridgeway. Riverside Log Cabin+Luxury Hot Tub Spa+Copper bath

Charming, riverside log cabin on the bank of the Kennett, overlooking a nature reserve. Privately located in my back garden there is a large open plan room with 2 double sofa beds, sleeping 4, a slate bed pool table & Hi Fi system. There's a luxury en suite bathroom with copper bathtub, shower, basin & WC. There are basic kitchen facilities with kettle, toaster, double hot plate, microwave & grill, sink & refrigerator/freezer. A veranda with 2 bbq's & seats plus lower deck overlook the river.

Luxury Shepherd's Hut - The Hyde

Welcome to The Hyde, our beautiful Shepherd's hut is waiting for you, with stunning views over the countryside, you'll have deer, pheasants, hares, kites, buzzards to name a few on your doorstep. Being a working small holding you are welcome to come and see our sheep, lambs and horses, you will be greeted with fresh eggs from our chicken and honey from our bees. The Hyde is fitted with modern facilities, a BBQ area, where you can sit back and relax there are wonderful walks, and local pubs.

The Loft @ Burghfield - Self Contained Annexe

The Loft @ Burghfield is a hotel style self-contained one bedroomed annexe with separate entrance, kitchenette and ensuite shower room. Located in the heart of the charming village of Burghfield Common it offers excellent links to Reading, Basingstoke, Newbury and London as well as offering woodland walks on the doorstep. Perfect for visiting relatives or whilst working at nearby AWE. Please note that the annexe is not available for "day use" and we will expect all guests to stay overnight.

The Pigsty

The Pigsty is Winchester's first luxury woodland hideaway, with beautiful views of Vale Farm. Prince's Forge is a newly converted cottage with its own private parking and courtyard garden, located on the edge of the downland village of Peasemore. It is situated on a quiet country lane, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and has views across the neighbouring fields. It is within easy reach of the A34 and M4, and the local market towns of Newbury, Wantage and Hungerford. The nearest pub for good food and a drink is a short walk away and the local farm shop is close by.

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - it’s now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe. The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.

The Studio at The Forge in Pamber End

Tucked away at the bottom of a mature garden lies The Studio at The Forge. The Studio has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Inside there is a kitchenette with everything you will need to prepare a meal during your stay. The guest house includes a comfortable king-sized bed to ensure a good nights sleep with a private bathroom. There is a dedicated working space within the main room with a TV and a large sofa which has a pull out bed to accommodate extra guests on request.

King size bed & full-size bath with rain shower. From your private deck with log burner you will see various wildlife species and watch the stars at night.

A detached, Grade ll, 200 year old thatched cottage in the small village of Ashford Hill, close to Newbury. My husband Andy and I own this one bedroom cottage, which has been carefully furnished and has parking and a small dedicated outdoor space.. It is an ideal base to explore the local area. Guests can visit Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey), attend the races at Newbury Race Course or enjoy the walks in the surrounding area including Watership Down.
