Relax in this cosy country retreat in the beautiful village of Holbrook. Stone Trough Cottage is approx 150 years old with thick stone walls and original oak beams. Centrally heated plus a log burner for those cosy nights. There’s plush carpets and cosy bedrooms and lots of storage space. The village pub is one min walk The bus takes 10 mins to Belper, bustling with individual shops, bars and restaurants. 🐾 Pets welcome £25 per stay for up to two pets. A cosy elevated retreat with history and character, The Annexe offers a peaceful escape overlooking the beautiful village of Matlock Bath. Built in 1823 as the servants’ quarters, it blends period charm with thoughtful modern touches. Access is via stone steps from the lower driveway, so while parking is roadside, this adds to the sense of privacy and seclusion. Perfect for the Peak District.

This unique self contained peaceful cottage is 250 years old and set in the centre of the beautiful village of Bonsall in the Peak District and within easy reach of all amenities. The cottage was once a Pigeon loft and has been transformed and renovated into a simple characterful living space within the conservation area. Views from the cottage and outside private terrace are stunning. There are choices of walks from the door including 2 pubs cafe and shop within easy walking distance.

Stone Rise Cottage, Belper

Stone Rise Cottage was built in 1874 and has been renovated to its characterful feel today. Entering through the stable-front door, is a traditional kitchen with all the necessities. Beyond this is the lounge with log burner, beams and doors to the stone terrace. There’s also a quaint dining room for evening meals. Upstairs is a modern, renovated bathroom with bath and traditional shower. There are two double bedrooms, both with an elegant feel and a double wardrobe in the second.

Enjoying a quiet, elevated position with fabulous views overlooking the Derwent Valley, this characterful cottage with many original features is located within the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage site and a local conservation area. Milford is an ideal base for walking and touring the Peak District and other local attractions.
