Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Welcome to Severson Basecamp! Our cozy studio condo at the base of Alyeska Resort is one of our favorite places to relax and enjoy all that Girdwood has to offer. Step outside and you're already on the mountain, with easy access to skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. Start your day with breakfast downstairs at The Bake Shop, spend the day exploring the mountain or town, and then unwind at either the Sitzmark or Jack Sprat while enjoying great food and drinks!

Hope H.U.B. Have. U. Been?

The beautiful community of Hope is a two hour drive from Anchorage. Hope HUB offers summer and winter trails for hiking, biking and skiing. PILOTS: the runway is a 10 minute walk, tie down the saucer and ride our community beater bikes into town for food and music. The Hope HUB has great views of the surrounding mountains on both sides. Use our outdoor fire pit, stocked with wood. Meet Wally our resident walrus and enjoy a truly extraterrestrial experience.

Alyeska Slope-Side Sanctuary Ski-In Ski-Out

Our fully remodeled slope-side getaway is located at the base of Alyeska with gorgeous views of the mountain. Just a short 2 min walk from the ski lifts, the Sitzmark Bar & Grill, and only 1 min from the fantastic Jack Sprat restaurant, our location cannot be beat.
