Thoroughly modernised - it even has electricity - yet full of the character of buildings of its time (1910), Tin House (formerly known as the Bothy) is a place of peace and eclectic interior decor. Surrounded by the woods and fields of secluded Glenquiech, from this little house you can walk or cycle for miles, undisturbed; or be still, and listen to the silence. Red squirrels scamper. A romantic, rustic log cabin set in peaceful, private woodland grounds just a short stroll to the shore of the beautiful Lintrathen Loch. Amid stunning scenery and in glorious calm and tranquillity this is an ideal spot to enjoy swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding in the Loch, or fly fishing by boat. Close to the picturesque village of Lintrathen with 2 super cafes and a farm shop in easy strolling distance . Set in the Angus Glens with heather clad hills, rolling valleys and waterfalls.

The Studio in the Garden - Cosy, quirky cabin.

The Studio is a delightful little hideaway in a large private garden close to Dundee city centre (15 min walk). It is a cosy, timber floored room with options for twin or superking beds, desk, tea and coffee making facilities and ample storage for two people on a short stay. It has its own front door and is ideal for one or two people or a couple. Let me know when booking how you would like the beds made up.. There is a small, private shower room with toilet, wash basin and electric shower.

The Hideaway at Bamff Ecotourism

The Hideaway is an off-grid wooden cabin at the edge of a mature woodland, 100 metres from private road and parking place, overlooking two beaver ponds. Ecoshower in separate hut, (decommissioned in cold weather) and composting loo in woods behind. Wood stove (with an inital supply) and two ring gas camping stove with grill. Simple cooking and eating equipment provided. Comfortable king size bed (4 poster) made with wood cut by beavers!. Z bed and hammock. Linen and towels provided.

Writer's Retreat in the heart of Perthshire

'The Howff' is a refurbished farm worker's bothy in a rural location with lots of walks and access to beautiful parts of Perthshire. One hour's drive from Edinburgh, 20 mins Dundee or Perth. This authentic bothy contains one room with single bed, wood burning stove, mini kitchen unit with fridge, oven, portable hob and kettle, separate shower room, wc, basin. Linen and towels included. Although small, The Howff is warm and cosy and makes a perfect retreat. Please note for ONE only.

'Ericht' Enjoy Hot Tub Views Cabins at the Roost

"Ericht" was completed in April 2022. We are taking bookings now for May 2022 onwards. This is our 2nd cabin and 'Isla' is generally booked months in advance. Ericht offers a cosy, quirky and luxurious retreat. Sitting within our 14 acre smallholding in a rural setting surrounded by farmland with open views of the Sidlaw Hills (and our sheep) Situated between 2 lochs, generously equipped for 2 people for a night or a week.

A romantic get away. Beautifully done, fully equipped warm cosy pod in Glen Isla, Angus. 5 miles to nearest town of Alyth. Peaceful, tranquil get away. Stunning views of the Glen. Biking, kayaking, walking. I am on the Cateran Trail. Golf courseS in near by Alyth and Blairgowrie. Places to eat near by at peel farm and bear cafe at Lintrathen. Dogs welcome, but a charge of £10 per night , per dog is applicable.

Farmer's Cabin

The Farmer's Cabin has undergone a huge restoration project, as it’s history was just as its name suggests - a farmers cabin used for long nights during harvest time. Guests who stay at the Farmer's Cabin have access to standard kitchen utilities in the cabin, heating, electricity, as well as a private toilet and shower in the communal bathroom area 20 metres away.
