Have you ever been driving down the highway and passed a vintage travel trailer and wished you had the opportunity to enjoy these times of the past? This is the perfect opportunity! This is an iconic Argosy travel trailer from 1972 and is remotely located and immersed in nature with wonderful views and great sunrise experiences. The trailer is off-grid but does have solar power for lighting and phone charging. It has a very adequate heating system and a seasonal outdoor shower.

Field of Dreams Creekside Camping

This is a quiet, serene spot where you will not be disturbed. We have a fire pit and tent camping right beside the creek. There is plenty of room for two tents and some hammocks. Our property is 13 acres (which you are welcome to explore) and behind our property is a field with cattle. We are only a 5 minute drive from the James River and area to launch kayaks/canoes. Great hiking is nearby and downtown Lynchburg is only 15 minutes away. Liberty University is 12 minutes away.

Our guests enjoy the cleanliness and comfort of the house, the privacy of location, the easy access to nature, and the local historical attractions.

One bedroom, basement apartment in well kept house. The apartment is furnished with antiques and set on the corner of a farm with good views. The apartment has a private entrance and parking just outside the door. We are a retired but active couple who live upstairs. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker and is stocked with coffee, tea, coffee fixings, snacks, and light breakfast items. We are 25 minutes to downtown Lynchburg and 20 minutes to Appomattox.

A Perfect Country Getaway

Heron Hill 49 is a place for people who want to unplug, get away, and appreciate the quiet of country life. It’s an ideal space to relax or to work without distractions. Fiber optic internet is provided; cell service is limited. (We recommend wi-fi calling.) Guests will enjoy walking the property, following Spring Creek, and exploring the remains of an old, hand-built stone dam in the woods. Birdwatchers will find an abundance of species.

We are a 420 friendly, working farm and campground. Enjoy the total cannabis experience. All guests will be welcomed with a complimentary tray of samples from the garden and 420 setup.
