In the winter you can drive 45 minutes to get to the Grand Targhee Ski resort. The resort has amazing powder to ski on in the winter and incredible scenic hikes to discover in the fall and summer. Our comfortable home sits on three beautiful acres in the country and is located 75 minutes from Yellowstone Park and Grand Teton National Park, 45 minutes to Grand Targhee ski resort and 7 minutes to Rexburg and BYU-Idaho. Enjoy a separate entrance to our basement which has 5 themed bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large family room and kitchen/dining space. You may also want to enjoy the beautiful back yard, playground, deck, firepit and picnic spots. (Note: we live upstairs)

Hanks Cabin is named after our great, great, great grandfather, Ephraim Hanks. We built this cabin in 2018 as a tribute to his life. The cabin is full of family history, antiques and furnishings. Whether you are fishing on the famous south fork of the snake river, traveling our beautiful area which includes Yellowstone park, Jackson Hole, or Grand Teton National Park. Although in modern day here at Mountain River Ranch, Cattle Kate is our cabin closest to our bathrooms and showers. It has a darling porch and we welcome you to kick back and enjoy a fire pit outside your cabin with family and friends!
