Our beautiful country cottage is situated near the foot of Slieve Patrick. The cottage sits on the edge of Downpatrick in the picturesque village of Raholp. The local shop is only a mile away With bars, restaurants,shops, museums and the St Patricks Centre, there are many things to do and see. Only a few miles away, take a tranquil walk around the Quoile river or visit the coastal village of Strangford with beautiful views across the Lough to Portaferry. We have a hot tub available from March.

The Little Cottage

Come and unwind at our little cottage guest house! Our little cottage is situated in a small area with lots of towns and cities nearby. Including Belfast 45 minutes away, and Newcastle which is around 20 minutes away as well as other surrounding areas. There are many local tourist attractions, walks and scenic routes closeby including, murlough beach, castlewellan forest park and castleward. There are a range of resturants/cafes nearby, as well as shops within 5-10 minutes driving distance.

Portaferry Home with a View

Newly refurbished Northern Ireland Tourist Board Certified 1 bed self catering cottage attached to our house (cot is also available on request). Private courtyard and decking area ideal for a coffee in the sun or an alfresco dinner with BBQ facility. The cottage is situated on a small holding, with countryside views. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Parking is available to the front of the property. We are a 20 min walk from Knockinelder Beach & 5 min drive (30 min walk) to Portaferry village.
