Access is via external wooden stairs at the rear—may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. Free on-street parking is nearby; guests may need to briefly stop to unload. Local amenities are within easy reach, though the area is quiet and peaceful, ideal for a relaxing stay.

The Lighthouse Cottage

Located in one of the most secluded parts of Scotland, Davaar Island provides a tranquil rural retreat. The Lighthouse Keepers Cottage has been restored into a beautiful, spacious and luxurious 1/2 bedroom cottage in its own private compound. The cosy interior and sweeping ocean views makes the cottage a perfect option. Spend your days exploring the island before curling up in front of the fire. The island is accessible at low tide by 4x4 or on foot. Guests are transported by 4x4 on and off

Facing the Atlantic, with unbroken views of dunes, links and sky, are our four lodges - part of Another Place, The Machrie. Located next to the main hotel with full access, they give you the best of both worlds: separate living/dining area, pantry kitchen, two bedrooms and patio area; plus direct access to our world-class golf links, Laggan Bay (a short stroll through the dunes), restaurant, outside sauna and hot tub garden, screening room, roaring log fires… Breakfast is included at the hotel.

Stunning Timber Longhouse

Set in an elevated position with Loch and Mountain views, Doune Cottage is as stunning as peaceful. Made exclusively from timber, we lovingly built this Scandi-inspired longhouse ourselves: comfortable and spacious, for families and groups alike. With beautiful local walks and 20 minutes from Loch Lomond and an hour from Glen Coe and Glasgow, the location is perfect for all kinds of holidays. Five minutes down the hill, Garelochhead village lies on the famous, scenic West Highland Train Line.

Tara Cottage

Near the centre of the seaside town of Dunoon and a few minutes walk from the ferry, Tara Cottage is both magical and cosy. This traditional stone cottage has been tastefully renovated. It has a feature stone wall, woodburning stove with oven, mezzanine loft area, hanging chair, corner bath, a generous porch with glass roof to view the stars (or rain!) and a private garden with fruit trees. There's a covered area between the house and shed perfect for hanging washing and bicycle storage.

Welcome to our home, on a quiet street directly off the seafront. It's only a short walk to Largs centre, with its amenities, attractions and direct trains to Glasgow, 1hr. Our spacious Scottish villa, is furnished in a unique eclectic style combining new with old, creating an elegant but cozy feel.
