Welcome to Castanheiro. Our property is a recently refurbished house built around a century old chestnut tree. A spacious terrace offers a panoramic view of the Santa Cruz Bay. It is conveniently located in Lagoa and within a 3 min walking distance to the ocean . A stroll to natural swimming pools will take you 10 min. The house was lovingly restored to maintain its original stone features. A perfect place to enjoy with family and friends as it comfortably accomodates up to 6 people.

Very quiet, on a very peacefull village. Swimming area close by, water stream with fish, great for hiking, bird watching and canyoning. 20 mins to furnas lake by car. Sleep among the Azores Pineapples 🍍✨ Cozy house set on a property dedicated to the iconic Azores pineapple. Private parking, Wi-Fi and air conditioning included. Located in Fajã de Baixo, about 4 km from Ponta Delgada city center, it offers a peaceful and authentic setting. Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and may be adjusted subject to availability. Please let us know your expected arrival time in Ponta Delgada so we can arrange check-in. We recommend renting a car.

Casa do Galo is a five-minute walk away from the “green lake”, and only three from the “blue lake”, giving you the opportunity to enjoy, comfortably, the peace and tranquility of the Sete Cidades volcano crater, immersed in the different shades of green. There are several recommended trails in the area which allow guests to explore the beauty of the nearby lakes and the local restaurants give you the chance of tasting the delicious Azorean cuisine.
