1km from Mairangi Bay (10 mins walk/2-3 mins drive).The guest area is below the main house & has its own entrance. The studio with HRV ventilation, heatpump and double glazing is ideal for solo travellers, couples with or without one small child. Please note that our downstairs studio has a low ceiling (1.98m high) and we don’t have a full kitchen. Breakfast: Tea/Coffee (Nespresso Machine)/Cereal and milk included. Red Rock Cottage, beachfront luxury ♥

Off the beaten track, a gorgeous 2-bedroom cottage sitting at the edge of the ocean. Kayak, paddleboard, fish, or lie in the sun and re-charge your soul. Clarks beach is a tiny village 40-mins from Auckland city. We have all the essentials here; grab fish and chips, play a round of golf, or eat at the local restaurants (Thai or Chinwags / bistro). A paddleboard and fresh eggs, fruit, and herbs from the garden are available during your stay!

Double glazed cedar french doors provide a seamless flow from the kitchen and living area to a private deck for alfresco dining. Guests can relax on an outdoor sofa while enjoying a meal on the deck. Set in a garden setting, the house is self-contained with an eco composting toilet, unlimited WiFi, full shower & fridge/freezer and kitchen. Maximum of 2 guests.

The bay is a tidal and is a great spot for kayaking, paddle-boarding and swimming at high tide. With private waterfront views, the cottage is in with in easy reach of the islands beaches and local amenities, with the Ostend market and supermarket only 10 min walk.
