A tiny house nestled within a quiet, lush Balinese-inspired sub-tropical urban jungle. Conveniently located within Ponsonby and Herne Bay - cafes, restaurants, and bars are just a 5-minute stroll away. Your host live next door in the main house. The Japanese-inspired minimalist interior features bamboo cabinetry and paneling, with some quirky features such as a catamaran net in the loft which is also a comfortable place to chill out.

Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.
