Modern and Peaceful Private Suite Whangarei

Kick back and relax in this modern, calm space. The space opens out to a beautiful rural outlook, banana trees and the Hikurangi Mountain. A short 5 minute drive to the iconic Kamo Village or 15 minutes to the Whangarei Town Basin. Equipped with a new kitchenette (no oven or hobb), a pod coffee machine and basic continental breakfast supplies. Parking at the door and a lockbox for ease. This studio is attached to our home, although it's completely separate and you'll have complete privacy.

Dargaville Cottage Accommodation

Very spacious 2 bedroom cottage solely for guests use (opened Jan 2023) Open plan lounge, dining, kitchenette area Jug, toaster, microwave, toasted sandwich machine, electric frypan, fridge/freezer, air fryer, rice cooker. Bedding includes 1 x electric adjustable king single bed. Total of 4 beds plus rollaway bed.. Dargaville township 10-15 min walk. Suitable single, couples, family, business guests. Dairy - 7 days and Takeaways 5 days. Kai Iwi Lakes 20mins approx. Stay 1 night or longer.

Original 1920s Baylys Beach Bach (max 3 guests)

Our lovely 1920s Bach is a one-minute walk from the beach which is over 100kms long. With quirky character & few mod-cons this is a place to be away from the TV, rest up & enjoy stunning nature on the doorstep. We have kept as many original features as possible, so you get to experience a traditional Kiwi holiday - with a few added comforts. We are dog friendly - check the house rules. Fibre WIFI very efficient. BBQ available. Maximum guest number is 3 including children/infants/babies.

Studio 10 - Treetops & Sea Views, Walk Into Paihia

Studio 10 is a light and sun filled apartment surrounded by native bush with views down to Paihia and the bay. Enjoy the birdsong & relax in your own tranquil tropical space. Beaches and Paihia town with boutiques, cafes, bars and supermarkets are a short walk downhill. Walk to the wharf and catch a ferry to historic Russell. Enjoy a day out exploring the Bay of Islands by boat or yacht. Walk to Opua along the coastal track or stroll to Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Free parking onsite.

Kiwi Bach @ Baylys Beach

Baylys Beach is an amazing place to visit, with a huge range of activities, beach fun, walking, fishing, 4WDriving, surfing, motorbiking, local golf course or just RELAX! We enjoy guests who appreciate the west coast and what its got to offer. Go no further in booking our bach if you cant handle sand, bugs, a little dust and cobwebs and buying toilet paper if it runs out. This 1940's reno bach is a still a WIP but has a new kitchen, toilet/bathrm, 3 bedrooms, ultrafast WIFI/Smart TV.

Pukeko Refuge

This is a lovely large quiet and tranquil separate unit with a new bathroom. A small stream gurgles alongside enjoyed by pukekoes and eels. We want you to enjoy the birdlife, therefore we have food for you to feed the fantails, eels and pukekoes. A Gazebo over looking the stream to watch the pukeko playing, maybe enjoying a glass of wine. The unit has a microwave, fridge and toaster sofa, table and chairs for you to enjoy "home away from it all". Very safe off street parking

Kensington Studio

Modern spacious self contained studio with its own private entrance. 5 minutes from the Town Basin; a perfect base for exploring Whangarei. Upstairs bedroom with queen & single beds. Downstairs a separate bathroom adjacent to lounge with heat pump and small kitchenette. Includes jug, toaster, fridge, microwave. Some breakfast essentials such as milk, spreads, muesli, various teas & coffee facilities as a starter only. Freeview TV and Netflixs. Off street parking for one vehicle.

Kick back and relax in this quiet, calm, stylish space. Self-contained and removed from the main house. Enjoy rural New Zealand at its best. No loud traffic noise, just hens quietly clucking, the occasional baa of sheep or a farm dog doing its work. Yet you're only 15 minutes from the city of Whangarei with its cafes and restaurants, the world-famous Hundertwasser Museum, the Clapham Clock Museum and the fantastic range of boutique shops and food outlets at the Town Basin.

Aranga Farm Stay

Our property is a working beef farm, so you will hear and see daily activities. The section is fully fenced. The porch gives a nice view of the valley. The pool is available from mid December to mid March usually. Kai Iwi Lakes 20-25 minutes drive and the Maunganui Bluff Beach 10 minutes. Note: 4 km of metal road off S H 12 to reach the house. No Wifi/Good mobile phone reception/Free-view TV Dargaville is the closest place for shopping and eating out.

Situated on a private 4ha rural property on the flanks of Mt Parakiore viewing the Whangarei Harbour, our new, stand-alone cottage is inviting guests to relax on the deck spotting our local Kahu flying by.
