Esta en una de las zonas mas concurridas y activas de la costera, a pocos metros encuentras cafeterías, bares, hostales y varios accesos a la laguna (el mas cercano esta a unos 100 metros). La estación de autobuses (ADO) se encuentra a 1.3 km de distancia, y el centro de Bacalar y Fuerte de San Felipe están a 4 calles.
