THE COOPERAGE was built in 1896 for one of the Ballarat Bertie Brewery's finest coopers - John Nice. This 4-bedroom Victorian Cottage is situated on a corner block with beautifully manicured gardens. Over the years, Ballarat's highly sought-after builders extended this house and added an amazing lantern style roof to bring an abundance of natural light in this beautiful home. THE COOPERARE is a short walk to CBD, cafes and specialty shops or a short drive to most of the Ballarat attractions.

Ligar Homestay - comfortable and stylish near city

Guests tell us our house feels homey. We are international travelers with an interest in Ballarat gold history so we have decorated accordingly. When making a standard booking for 1 - 2 people, you have access to the main rooms in the house and one bedroom with a sitting area. If 2+ people are staying and other bedrooms are required, there is an additional fee. There is a second bedroom with a queen bed and the third bedroom off the lounge room has a small double (3/4) bed that can be opened.

It is situated on a quiet street, only a couple of minutes drive away from major sporting venues, shopping centre and the Grammar School. A few more minutes to the lake and the CBD. Ruby is a clean, comfortable tiny house. A little oasis in a beautiful garden. Great for a cosy escape on your own or with your favorite person and/or pet. Located only 10 mins walk from the city centre and everything that Ballarat has to offer, including an array of pubs, shops and restaurants. You can walk to Sovereign Hill in 15 minutes. The house is adorable ( yes, I’m biased) and I know you’ll love staying here. Come and enjoy a stay in Ruby. Check in any time from 3pm until 10pm.
