Just off Wales' Coastal Path, this 17th-century converted barn offers the perfect rural hideaway to enjoy both the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff. With great access to Gileston Manor (1-minute walk away) and Cardiff Airport (a 5-minute taxi ride away), Cowbridge and Llantwit Major (15 minutes' drive). There are loads of beautiful walks nearby aswell as two pubs (15 minute walk) and a large co-op (10 minute walk). Wedding venue Gileston Manor is a 1 minute walk away. Great access to Cardiff Airport, Cardiff Stadium, the Principality Stadium and the city centre.

The Mechanic's Rest is our latest addition to the Ellenborough Hall Holiday Flats. The old workshop for the Hall has recently been lovingly restored into holiday accommodation. On the ground floor is the living area with a fully equipped kitchen , a leather sofa, single chair, a TV and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. There is a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Upstairs on the Mezzanine is a luxury king size bed. Mechanic's Rest is fully self contained with secure off road parking.

It's in a great location: cul-de-sac, green space to the front, garden to the rear, close to shops, 5 mins walking distance to several beaches and coastal path, also near to the Goodsheds sustainable urban high street. Built new in 2017, it is a bright, spacious and contemporary home. A well decorated and comfortable place to stay. P.S. The sunsets are amazing!
