Kawakawa Hut

A small but special little place tucked neatly between rolling hills. Kawakawa Hut provides a simple but comfy getaway for two in a beautiful countryside. Close by lies the vegetable garden, and friendly cows graze just over the fence. Further out over surrounding farmland you can see Tongariros snow capped mountains in the distance, so sit back and enjoy. Plum Tree Gardens (small rustic home)

Our wee rustic guesthouse is in Ngongotahā which is 7km's from Rotorua central. The guesthouse is set in our back garden along with our 4 chooks & our 8 year old Golden Lab Rex 🐶. The space is private and has a double bedroom with a comfy queen bed & basic ensuite. There's a separate lounge with kitchenette & dining space, a small smart TV & cozy sofa, surrounded by a deck with gas BBQ. We are by no means luxurious, but do guarantee inspiration, character & ample love for our wee rustic home.

Within half an hour you can be at the beautiful beaches of Mt Maunganui & Papamoa or enjoying the tourism Mecca of Rotorua A 1650 hectare all terrain playground is five minutes away, offering a range of activities. Auckland is a 2.5 hour drive away or a 30 minute flight.

Wake up to stunning views over ocean and islands - just a 5min walk through the paddock to the secluded beach. Hot shower under the stars. Outdoor bath to soak away the cares. Seperate toilet.

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

Light airy warm self-contained apartment situated on a lifestyle block minutes from Tauranga's CBD. The Pool House has one separate bedroom with 4 built-in bunks good for adults or kids. The main room has a high-end Tilt-away king-size bed with a quality mattress, allowing adults to enjoy evenings and personal space. As we are remediating our land after flood damage we don't have our usual livestock however we are happy for guests to walk and enjoy the property.
