We offer a Cottage with 2 bedrooms. Our guests can experience an authentic, Partially off-grid living experience in the tropical jungle. We designed a thatched roof cabana built with natural materials straight out of the jungle. Get close to nature and explore our garden and surrounding farm. The 4-acre property includes an outdoor fresh rainwater catchment system. Our neighbors, also farmers, are living as simply as possible, happily growing their own food, raising families and staying healthy.

Sit on the porch, bathed in morning sunlight, with a view of the foothills of the Mayan Mountains. Watch the toucans, parrots, and hummingbirds which frequent the property. Near the Mayan village of San Antonio, it is one of the closest of rentable properties to the tourist attractions in the Mountain Pine Ridge. We have good WiFi.

Pilgrim’s Paradise is nestled on a 20 acre farm just 2 miles outside of downtown San Ignacio on the edge of Santa Elena. It is a nature lovers dream. Accessible from the farm are about 3 miles of nature trails where bird watchers have observed about 100 different species of birds along with other wildlife. Fully equipped with Air conditioning, hot and cold shower, refrigerator, stove and the basics for cooking. If you want a quiet peaceful stay, look no further! We would love to have you!!

Long Term Stay in the country Not for Sissies

Must love chickens. This is a little house that we built for our son in 2016. It is next door to our house where we rent a room on Airbnb (Close to Town but in the Country). This is best for longer term, researchers or folks wanting to get to know the area. Welcome are people who love Belize and all its quirks. Unwelcome are people who want to try to make money from Belizeans or sit in the house and complain about the insects, rain, culture, etc. Sorry but true. Good references required.
