Chicken Coop Guest House on Olympic Peninsula

Originally the cottage was a chicken coop on this 5 acre ranchette nestled in the small farming community of Happy Valley. As the valley became more residential the cottage has been nicely converted to a comfortable indoor/outdoor living space. Pasture and farm still abound and mix with wildlife and recreation. Olympic National Park and Forest just to the south. Strait of Juan de Fuca and Dungeness Recreation Area to the north. Pacific Ocean to the west and Hood Canal and Seattle to the east.

The Studio

The Studio is a very private guest house created from a former art studio, elegantly furnished with a country flair. Located in a farm area, this is a perfect getaway location - convenient to lavender farms, beaches, and mountains, yet less than 10 minutes from downtown Sequim. The property features a private gated entrance, mountain view, fenced and landscaped yard, and ample parking. A bank of Cypress trees provides afternoon shade, and there is a fireplace to cozy up to on chilly evenings.

It sits on a five-acre lot with private access to the Olympic Discovery Trail for your biking and hiking pleasure. You can use us as a base to explore the Olympic Peninsula and Olympic National Park. Very close to the Olympic Discovery Trails, Sequim Bay State Park and Marina, Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, Dungeness River Audubon Center and Railroad Bridge Park. The Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge and Deer Park are close enough for day trips and Neah Bay and the coast are approximately 2 hours away.

Cozy mother in law suite located 5 minutes away from downtown Sequim, about 20 minutes from Port Angeles. We are just on the outskirts of town, far away enough for a country feel and close enough to go grab a quick bite to eat. We are in a quiet family neighborhood and a few minutes off HWY 101, super easy to hop on or off the main road. Hurricane Ridge, Dungeness Spit, Lavender Farms galore are a short drive away. So much to explore and do here.
