The chalet was built in 1981 and in 2007, its entire interior as well as to a large extent also its exterior was renovated with great care. The house was originally designed as a holiday house and built by a carpenter firm located in the nearby Toggenburg region. It met the high quality standard of typical traditional wooden houses of that time period and was constructed with skilled craftmanship. One can find on the first floor in the chalet a big living and eating area with a chimney, a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and two bedrooms. Upstairs is a television-sleeping room and an other bedroom. Each of them have additionally two roof lights. In the cellar are laundry facilities which can be used. In the chalet garden one can find two patio. Free parking spaces are available for our guest. From Benken to Zurich is approximately 45 min drive as well as Benken to St.Gallen or Luzern about 50 min. Nearby one can find: Two lakes lake of Zurich and lake of Walenstadt those two are connected by the river Linth Golfplaces (Nuolen, Bubikon, Gams-Werdenberg, Gonten) Glider airfield Schänis and the small airfield Wangen Amden & Weesen, Flumserberge, Filzbach, Pizol, Toggenburg, Elm and Braunwald are places for hiking and skiing.

Wir vermieten eine sehr schöne, neu möblierte und gemütliche 30m2-Wohnung mit separatem Schlafzimmer. Im offenen Wohnzimmer mit Küche und Essplatz hat es ein grosses Bettsofa. Die Wohnung hat einen separaten Wohnungseingang und befindet sich im Erdgeschoss (keine Stufen), der gratis Parkplatz ist direkt neben der Wohnung. Die Wohnung liegt mitten im Dorf und ist einfach zu finden. Nur drei Minuten zur Bushaltestelle, 40 Minuten nach Zürich. Wir, die Gastgeberfamilie, wohnen im Obergeschoss.

Cities such as Zurich, St. Gallen & Lucerne can be reached in about 1 hour by car. The great chocolate factory inspires young and old. You are very welcome.

Erlebe in dieser besonderen und neu möblierten Unterkunft besondere Momente. Idyllische Lage mit Blick auf See und Berge. Der Balkon und Sitzplatz laden zum Verweilen ein. Parkplatz vorhanden. Öffentlicher Seezugang und Liegewiese in 100 m Entfernung. Der schöne Strandweg entlang des Seeufers führt von Rapperswil nach Schmerikon und direkt durch Bollingen. Es ist ein Fuss und Radweg von 11 km Länge. Bollingen ist nur mit dem Auto erreichbar! ÖV und Läden sind in 5 Min. Autofahrt entfernt.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Wir stellen euch unsere wunderschöne Familienwohnung zur Verfügung. In stilvollem Ambiente geniesst ihr "Dolce vita" zu zweit oder mit der ganzen Familie. Seen, Wander- und Skigebiete; alles innerhalb von 45 Fahrminuten erreichbar. Auch die Städte Zürich, St. Gallen, Schaffhausen und einiges mehr ist innerhalb einer Fahrstunde zu erreichen. Vielleicht möchtet ihr aber einfach nur gemütliche Stunden vor dem Kamin, im Pool oder in der Sauna geniessen. Wir freuen uns auf respektvolle Gäste!

Holzwände und Riemenböden schaffen eine angenehm wohnliche Atmosphäre. Die optimal ausgestattete Unterkunft ist auch für Langzeitaufenthalte und Familienferien geeignet. Der naturnahe Garten mit Terrassen und Obstbäumen lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Unterkunft liegt zentral im Ortskern Ebnat-Kappels in einer historisch bedeutungsvollen Strasse.

Direkt vor der Wohnung sind Wanderwege die sie z.B zum Waldbach-Wasserfall führen werden. Bleiben sie auf dem Jakobsweg geniessen sie die Aussicht auf Bodensee, Zürrisee oder den Säntis. In 25.min erreichen Sie mit Auto den Säntis oder die sieben Churfirsten sowie Thurwasserfälle. Es gibt platz für Ihr Auto sowie Velos.
