Shepherd's cottage is a delightfully cosy annexe with it's own private entrance and own cottage garden. Tucked away on a no through road, that leads directly onto a bridleway and footpaths, Shepherd's cottage makes an ideal place to stay for those who simply want to get away from it all. We welcome 2 small dogs ( pet fee applies) and horses - with a choice of fields to keep your horse in ( additional charge of £25 per night for horses). It’s the perfect place for a cozy winter break, Perfect for couples, or for a family to enjoy a tranquil break on the on the Isle of Purbeck. Full of original character, the 145-year-old cottage has been renovated and extended into a wonderful home.

The Old Reading Room West Stafford

The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. We have now lovingly restored, decorated and furnished this amazing building into a cosy self catering holiday retreat, "far from the madding crowd" Open plan, comfy double sofabed, wood burner, country walks and fabulous village pub.

Plenty of board games and DVDs will keep the younger ones entertained or get outside to the nearby River Stour to spot otters and kingfishers (just a 5 minute walk from the house) or head in any direction to Dorset's spectacular countryside.

We are 20 minute drive from Dorchester which was the home of Thomas Hardy.

Unique & Stunning Bespoke Thatched Shepherd's Huts

Our Bespoke Shepherd's huts are set in the tranquil countryside of Dorset in the village of Moreton which is famous for being the burial place of Lawrence of Arabia and 500 metres from Moreton Ford which leads into countryside and woods to stroll through. The huts are set in their own garden with gravelled outdoor dining area and Hot Tub. Inside you benefit from one hut being the living space, a 2nd hut as a full bathroom which are connected by a galley kitchen.
