Walking distance to the breath-taking Silversands Beach. 3min drive to the penguin colony. 10min drive to Botanical gardens. 20min drive to Palmiet river swimming and hiking. Thalassa has soul and many happy moments have been spent here in this idyllic haven.

Welcome in our charming cottage with the sounds of the little river, frogs and the ocean in the background. Betty's Bay is well known for its unspoiled nature, mountain, fynbos, beaches, lakes and gorgeous African (jackass) penguins. The penguins are within walking distance. The famous Harold Porter Botanical gardens is 5 minutes drive away. Betty's Bay has endless hiking, surfing, angling and snorkeling opportunities. A local grocery store is about 700 metres from the house.

Relax, sip on local wines, and take in the spectacular mountain views from the poolside deck. Neighbor to award winning wine farms, situated in the pristine Banhoek Valley. 8 minutes drive to central Stellenbosch, 25 minutes to Franschhoek. The sand dunes are 15 meters from the house, and the beach a 3 minute walk Great for 1 or 2 families with up to 6 children, or 3 couples. Please note: not suitable for more than 6 adults. The house is set up with a well equipped kitchen, in- and outdoor braai, board/lawn games and a TV with Netflix.
