Welcome in our charming cottage with the sounds of the little river, frogs and the ocean in the background. Betty's Bay is well known for its unspoiled nature, mountain, fynbos, beaches, lakes and gorgeous African (jackass) penguins. The penguins are within walking distance. The famous Harold Porter Botanical gardens is 5 minutes drive away. Betty's Bay has endless hiking, surfing, angling and snorkeling opportunities. A local grocery store is about 700 metres from the house.

Located on the seafront and in a biosphere reserve, Kalliste’s Misty Shores Cottage is the private and freestanding cottage of Kalliste Beach House (owner's accommodation). Our home is perfectly situated in the heart of the Town, only 200m from the shops and bars and 300m from the main beach walkway. It is nestled on a small elevation with tremendous views of the coast and mountains. The house is recently renovated and we are now solar powered with mains back-up. There is a large braai room with seating for 10 people - where it all happens!

This delightful house positively oozes charm! Light-filled and spacious, the daybed in the open plan living area invites you to curl up with a book catching the last rays of the sun before lighting a fire in the combustion fire-place. The modern kitchen makes for delightful entertaining with the dining area opening onto the covered veranda and braai.
