At the base of the Nant Peris Valley, one of the most dramatic in Britain, it is perfectly located for climbing Snowdon. The accommodation is great for one or two couples, or a small family. In our tiny village of Nant Peris we have a great local pub with ales, good food and an inglenook fire a stroll from your front door. Castles,beaches and adventures- Snowdonia has it all.

The Barn at Tan Y Rhiw nestles in the Nanmor valley, surrounded by ancient woodland, with spectacular views of Moel Ddu. A safe place to retreat from the world, and reconnect with nature, over two miles from the main road. Relaxing in the private garden listen to owls hooting or cuckoos calling. Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

Wake to peaceful waterside views, explore nearby beaches, launch a paddleboard straight from the cottage, head out hiking & unwind watching tidal ebb and flow. Though wonderfully secluded, it’s just 5 minutes from the A55 perfectly placed for exploring Anglesey and beyond. Finish the day with a soak in the hot tub (optional extra) under the stars - your perfect coastal escape

If you haven’t climbed Snowdon yet our cottage is the perfect base to bring friends and family and your dog for an adventure! Relax in front of the log burner or socialise in our awesome kitchen. Paddle in the sea at Dinas Dinlle which is only a short drive away! There is so much to explore from our doorstep such as ancient castles, majestic mountains and lakes, steam railways, Portmeirion, Zip-world and much more. We even have the Heritage Steam Railway and a pub within walking distance.

Terfyn Cottage

Traditional Welsh Stone Cottage in the heart of Llanberis Pass. Located within the picturesque village of Nant Peris, Terfyn is a 100m from the Snowdon long stay car park that has regular buses to Pen-y-Pass car park for hikers wanting to climb Yr Wyddfa. It is also a 300m walk to Vaynol Arms pub, where you can pop in for a well deserved traditional pub dinner and drink after a long climb. Terfyn Cottage is the perfect location to enjoy everything Snowdonia National Park has to offer.

The quiet side of Snowdon. Bryn Derwen is close (2 miles & 3 miles respectively) to the start of the Snowdon Ranger & Rhyd Ddu paths to the summit - without the crowds! Bryn Derwen is a self catering, mid terraced cottage, between Caernarfon and Beddgelert in the Snowdonia National Park. It is spacious with dining/kitchen & pantry, south facing sitting room, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. The gardens front & back, offer superb views of river & mountains and the Welsh Highland Railway.

There are 2 wood burners, fully equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine & microwave. Excellent WIFI, Sky Q, walking guide books. Included is an initial supply of kindling, paper and logs. The Cwellyn Arms pub is just a few steps away.
