The house has a fully equipped large modern kitchen, lounge area with custom sofa, a small office and two double rooms with en-suite. There are two TVs for Netflix (not terrestrial TV) and free wifi throughout the house. Recommended for a couple plus wanting a more cultural than party holiday.

Our place is located in a quiet street leading to the main square in Paola (Raħal Ġdid) with free parking outside and close to all amenities. Buses going directly to Valletta, the Three Cities and the airport pass frequently close by. The house is just a couple of minutes away on foot from the Hypogeum and the Tarxien Temples. This house is approx 300 years old, where old meets new, having traditional floor tiles, stone staircase and wooden beams. It is situated in the lovely village of Rabat only 2mins walk from the old capital city of Mdina, the Roman Villa, Howard Gardens and many other historical places. It is a 1 minute walk away from the main bus terminus and parking area, restaurants and shops. The Sunday market is within walking distance. Although having all amenities nearby,it is a quite pedestrian street.

Entire House of Character “Castelinho São Marcos”

This Maltese sandstone house is more than 500 years old and dates back to the time of the Knights of St John. It was once the centrepiece of a palazzo. It is characterized by the majestic staircase with marble stairs that extend from the entrance door to the upper floors. Thanks to an internal courtyard with a skylight, the house is flooded with light. The interior was completely renovated during a 2 year conversion which took into account the Maltese characteristics & historical features.

Driftwood is a 4-storey, traditional Maltese house, located in the square of Kalkara, beside the steps of the local church, in the proximity of the well sought, Three Cities. You'll enjoy the rooftop all to yourself, with deckchairs, a BBQ and a great view of the harbour and the bastions. The bus stop is just outside your door, as well as coffee shops, bakeries and take-away places. Top-notch restaurants at the Birgu Seafront and the Rinella beach are also withing walking distance.
