There is one king size bed and a double sofa bed. If you require the sofa bed for one night ONLY please supply your own bedding/towels for it. A beautiful home in the heart of the National Forest, situated on the edge of Albert Village Lake with good hiking, cycle routes & lovely walks. Close proximity to Moira Furnace, Swadlincote Ski centre & Conkers. The lovely market town of Ashby de la Zouch is just a 5 mile drive. Walking distance to local pub. Parking available on driveway. Free fibre plus WIFI. East Midlands airport 25 min, the bus is only £2. Junction 11 M42 is a 10 min drive. Electric charging points available in Swadlincote.

The Mill

Grade II listed former brewery mill with a southfacing private courtyard garden. Rate is for 3 rooms - two doubles and a single (5 guests) - not all four rooms (up to 7). Please contact us if you would also like to book the master room with ensuite and we will confirm a rate. NB: This bathroom is shared by the 3 rooms not ensuite, shower is over the bath. Non private parking is available street side & in various local free carparks. Please DM with queries and we would be pleased to help.

Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.
