Listed as 5* they are situated in a superb location on the A465 close to rail links, with the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and major bike parks nearby.

We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

With direct train links to Cardiff & Newport, and the Brecon Beacons within easy reach by car, the cottage works well for work trips, family visits, or exploring the wider area.

A fully renovated 3 bedroom house in the centre of Beaufort that also has retained some of the features from when it used to be a local pub “ The Rising Sun” in the 1950’s What’s around us? We are located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons national park and within traveling distance of the following. Bike Park Wales Pen-y-Fan , Sugar Loaf , Skirrid Big Pit We are also located a 4min drive to the train station.

A quiet location at the edge the national park, with spectacular mountain walks virtually outside the front door, as well as amazing views of the Welsh mountains from every window. We are in the heart of the Clydach Gorge on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is a village pub open 6 days a week offering food Friday’s and Saturday’s. The market towns of Crickhowell and Abergavenny are close by. The national cycle network local to us is 46 and are are close to Bike Park Wales, Big Pit Blaenavon, and the Clydach Ironworks.
