Boat of Garten is a beautiful village situated in the Spey Valley. It is an ideal base for many sporting and nature activities in summer and winter. There is even a steam train that runs past the bottom of the garden. The village has a grocery store, cafe, hotel and a restaurant. Our bungalow has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. There is a well equipped kitchen/dining room and a lounge with a beautiful view. We also have a utility room which is great for drying wet gear and storing wellies!

You will enjoy staying in this 3 bedroom cosy and quirky late 19th century railway sleeper cottage situated next to Deshar Woods in the popular village of Boat of Garten near Aviemore. We are next door so can help you if you need any assistance or local recommendations. You can sit out in the private cottage courtyard patio space in which the hot tub is located. You are also welcome to use the sauna and Granlea gardens which include a children's play area, lawn, table tennis table, bbq area etc.

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Centrally heated bedrooms with with Egyptian linen and quality mattresses. Downstairs bedroom has french doors leading out to the deck and garden. Kitchen boasts dishwasher, Bosch oven, hob, washing machine and granite worktops. Outside deck with stunning views from own private garden. Gate access to footpath leading to village.

Bothan - With stunning mountain views

Highland Shepherd Huts are offering the ultimate glamping experience. Perfect for 2 or 4 for either a romantic break or a well needed escape. Experience nature and adventure in our shepherds hut situated in 16 acres of woodland at Mondhuie near Nethybridge. We do accept well behaved dogs and the hut has room for 1 large dog or 2 small dogs. We have to charge for this and the cost is £30 per dog per stay. This is not included in the price but cash can be left on departure.
