Nearby are vineyards and GWU. 7 1/2 acres of serene beauty - sit by the pond and fish or hike the cleared trails down to the flowing creek. End the night sitting by the firepit. Sleeps 4-6 people. 1600 sq ft house with 2 BR, 2 Baths, den, and a beautiful open concept living dining and kitchen. Queen air mattress for den. NOTE: 6/25 upgraded to Starlink. Wi-Fi is no longer an issue.

This cozy 1955 Sears & Roebuck kit house has been brought back to life! We vaulted ceilings and removed walls, but kept the original footprint. It is just the right size for a getaway for 2 - 4 with 1 private bedroom and a sleeping loft. It has all the modern conveniences and is nestled at Gilbert Landing, 1 mile from downtown and 15 min to TIEC. We are dog-friendly, with host approval. There is a $99 pet fee for one dog. No dogs under 1 year. Additional pet & cleaning fees longer stays.

Cozy cottage with one bedroom (queen bed) and bath has been completely remodeled with new hardwood floors, granite counter tops, kitchen appliances and w/d. There is a nice little deck out back with a charcoal grill or enjoy a quiet evening around the fire pit out front. Five minutes to Rutherford Hospital, easy access to TIEC, the nearby blueridge mountains, historic Asheville and Hendersonville or if you are looking for something different you could easily visit Charlotte or Greenville SC.

Mountain modern Carriage House downtown Morganton

The Carriage House and city of Morganton have power and are ready visitors. This guest house sits behind a historic home in downtown Morganton. The 1920s structure has restored original finishes : a claw foot tub, vintage bathroom sink, and farm house sink in the kitchen. Downstairs features original wood bead board ceilings. Upstairs the ceiling was removed to expose the roof and beams. Two fireplaces keep it cozy - you'll have a lovely place relax and listen to the rain on the metal roof.
