Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

It's just 10 mins drive from Bala town and walking distance to the lake. Patio doors from the lounge open onto a side garden where you can enjoy BBQs, and in the garden behind there are views of Bala lake and mountains. There's a kingsize bed upstairs + a kingsize sofa bed downstairs to sleep four.

There's so much to explore and see in the area: Snowdonia, Portmeirion, castles, narrow gauge railways in nearby Porthmadog and if you are looking for more excitement try the zip wires at Blaenau and Llanberis. The name Bryn Goleu means mountain light. One small/medium dog is welcome by mutual agreement, but please let us know
