There are several hiking trails in the area. The small town of Greyton is close.Great restaurants, Saturday morning market and galleries. Ganskraal amd the surrounding areas are ideal for cycling enthusiasts.

A paddle in our double seated kayak is a must when the tide and weather conditions permit. @Maggie is a contemporary, architect designed holiday home in a small eco reserve, 5 minutes from Montagu, on the R62, about 180 km from Cape Town. Access to the reserve is gained by entering and passing through the orchards on Le Domaine farm. The reserve itself is nestled next to the CBR dam, with the ideal opportunity to do silent watersport, like canoeing. For keen birdwatchers this is paradise...watching fish eagles will be the highlight. @Maggie promises a peaceful, tranquil stay.

The main en suite bedroom has one queen size bed and the second room has the option of either two single beds or one king size bed. To make your stay extra comfortable we supply all the luxuries you will need, including towels, swimming towels, good quality linen.

Surrounded by mountains boasting a picturesque garden and farm dam view, New Beginnings Cottage is situated on Toddle Inn Farm, 21kms (10kms on gravel) outside the historic town of Montagu in the Western Cape. It is private and mostly quiet and peaceful, however, it is situated in a working farm area. It is pet friendly by arrangement and is mostly fenced off but is open to the farm dam at the bottom so is not 100% foolproof.
