Ghost town Ruin

It took my husband nine winters to rebuild the ruin from the miners back in the 40's. It has a 10" memory full size mattress, a light, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, and an outdoor covered patio area with a refrigerator. It is rustic and special at the same time. It has an electric heater for cool nights and a small AC for warmer ones. We have WiFi on the compound, however, reception in the rock Ruin is iffy at best, reception is in the Patio area of the Ruin and common area,

Sunset Ranch is an acre lot at the far southeast corner of Marathon, TX that backs up to the ranch land facing south that provides unobstructed views of sunrises and sunsets from the 700 sf covered porch. Marathon is a quaint west Texas town with a public park, gardens, restaurants and shopping. It also has a level 1 night sky rating for star gazing. Located 40 minutes from Big Bend National Park entrance, this is a launch point to explore the national park and other parks and communities.

Off Grid Earth Bag Home

Welcome to my earth bag home located 25 minutes outside of the entrance to Big Bend National Park. The house sits on 150 acres with 360 degree views of mountains, mesas, pinnacles, spires, and buttes. There are walking trails throughout the property. Good luck finding another home with as much love put into it! If the Earthbag home is booked I have a home called “Rammed Earth” over the hill that is a work of art. For some reason with online algorithms this home is not showing up as often.

Boystown, - A Renovated Ghostown Mining Cabin

Located just 10 minutes from Big Bend National Park entrance, this unique miner's cabin is in the Terlingua GhostTown. A hand-built house built by miners a hundred years ago, but comfortably updated. Dubbed "Boystown" by river guides living there in the 80's, the name stuck. The porch has award-winning views of the mountains of Big Bend National Park and a night sky filled with stars. Enjoy the well stocked kitchen, or walk to one of the nearby restaurants.
