Das Chalet Bärenegg ist wunderbar in die Landschaft der Berner Seen- und Bergwelt eingebettet. Drinnen ist es klein mit wenig Stauraum, dafür hat es draussen hübsche Nischen zum verweilen: zwei Sitzplätze mit BBQ, Aussensauna und für die Kleinsten Wiese, Sandkasten und Rutschbahn. Hier spürt man die Stille und Kraft der Natur vor dem mächtigen Niesen und mit dem atemberaubenden Seeblick. Unzählige Ausflugsmöglichkeiten rund um den Thunersee machen den Aufenthalt zum einmaligen Erlebnis.

The train station offers good connections to the best sights of the region, including Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Jungfraujoch (Top of Europe), Luzern and Berne. Great location for skiing (only 20 min to the new Grindelwald Ski Terminal).

Sie können direkt zur Ferienunterkunft fahren. In der Umgebung gibt es schöne Wanderwege und Sehenswürdigkeiten wie z.B. der Ballenberg. Einkaufen können Sie im Dorf das etwa 2,5 km entfernt ist. Das Haus verfügt über 2 Parkplätze und hat Platz für 6 Personen.

Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer. My accommodation is in the residential area of a small village close to Brienz and Interlaken. Well developed by public transport. You will love it there because of the cozy chalet atmosphere, fully equipped kitchen and a great view of Lake Brienz. The accommodation is perfect for families (with children) and large groups.
