As our name implies, this spacious loft-style apartment on the top floor above "Sigourney Mercantile" awaits after you CLIMB up TWO flights of stairs (no elevators, sorry, so pack accordingly)! Once you reach the "summit” of your climb up the stairs, take a step back in time with retro-style furnishings & modern comforts of home. Kids are welcome. However, please note this is a loft-style apartment so beware it is not completely child-proof due to its design

A short walk to visit Amish businesses and downtown Kalona, which includes many local shops, such as: Tuscan Moon, Kalona Brewery, Kalona Chocolates, Kalona Coffee House, Golden Delight Bakery and more. Our cabin is located right on the edge of Lacey-State Park, with two spacious bedrooms, fully furnished living room, kitchen and bath. Sit on the deck and watch the deer walk by, enjoy the peace and quiet, with plenty of space to park your boat and recreational vehicles. Downtown Keosauqua is less than half a mile and conveniently located near all that this quaint river town has to offer - dining, shopping, bars, trails, kayaking, fishing, hunting and so much more. Pets not allowed.

Winery - Vineyard Rustic Cabin

The Cabin is located on the site of Wooden Wheel Vineyards and Winery. For over 80 years this building served as a summer kitchen and wood shed for the main house, which was removed in the 60's. It was turned into a weekend cabin in the 90's and remodeled for your enjoyment in 2018. On site you can enjoy free wine tasting and a tour of the vineyard and winery. If the urge strikes you, you can have some R&R by helping out in the vineyard. Or, just take a walk back to our pond/timber.

The Roost Tiny Home -Cozy and Quiet 4 Season

Welcome to THE ROOST, a great place to relax and recharge! This unique tiny home is located on the Des Moines River. Your personal deck is a great spot to grill and watch river life. Our swing fire gazebo is a great place to unwind. We are located in the famous rural Van Buren County that includes 11 villages - Specialty shops, dining, antiques, golfing & community pool. Lacey state park has many outdoor adventures - Lake Sugema, hunting, fishing & hiking in the forest.

This cozy yet spacious home is centrally located in Washington just blocks from shopping, dining & coffee on the square or just over 1 mile to the Washington Wellness Park and trailhead of the Kewash Trail. Our home offers two bedrooms and one full bath with laundry. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and sitting area while bedroom 2 can be configured with 1 king or two twin beds allowing flexibility for your stay.

The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room.
