Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. Laburnum Lodge at Mercia Marina

Our lodge is located in a quiet area of the Marina (a secure gated community) nestled amongst the immaculately manicured planting but within walking distance of places to eat. Basque all day in the sunshine from our huge south-facing wrap-around deck or walk down to the Boardwalk for a drink whilst watching the sun set. The lodge has no steps & wide doors. Twin or double sleeping options available in bed 2 and the enclosed decking keeps pets & kids safe. Perfect family accommodation.

The Coach house is a self contained apartment within a village setting,which benefits from a local convenience store. It is situated close to the M42 with good road links to all Midlands towns and cities. Netherseal is within The National Forest which allows access to numerous walks. There are many attractions close eg Calke Abbey, The National Forest, Staunton Harold and National Arboretum We provide a welcome pack with fresh bread, milk, eggs and preserves

Beech Hill Cottage

Small quirky cottage in the Derbyshire Dales, perfect for walkers, cyclists, countryside lovers or just for a relaxing weekend away. Close to Ashbourne, Belper, Carsington Reservoir and Kedleston Hall. Plenty of country pubs nearby serving local ales and hearty food. The property is in a delightful and secluded position on the south facing side of Darley Hillside with views over the valley. The main living area is on the upper floor, accessed directly from the driveway and car-port via a hallway leading to the master bedroom and ensuite; living room with open log fire, dining area and internal balcony access to 2-storey atrium complete with spiral staircase; cloakroom; toilet, and kitchen with tree top external terrace.

Conveniently located for the market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, with it’s Castle, country walks on the door step with the added bonus of a local Public House (The Black Lion) selling a selection of real ales, across the lane. This makes this the perfect place to explore the National Forest and everything it has to offer. Charging of electric vehicles by prior arrangement only, at an additional cost.
