Our guest suite is fully self-contained with kitchenette, en suite bathroom, walk-in shower, spa and shared laundry. It is a new-build facility attached to the historic former Uniting Church in Spalding. The accommodation offers a relaxing overnight stay or respite for longer visits. Special features include the en suite spa bath, fully equipped kitchenette and laundry. We provide some food essentials: tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, milk, butter and condiments, however meals are not included.

Nestled in the hamlet of Penwortham in the heart of the Clare Valley this quaint, unique cottage (circa 1896) is set well back from the main road. Magpie Lane Cottage is situated only metres from the Riesling Trail. Drive, cycle, or walk (if you’re keen) to some of the best winery cellar doors and restaurants the beautiful Clare Valley has to offer. Enjoy the abundant birdlife (including Bob, our resident magpie) and watching sunsets from the deck in this peaceful and tranquil setting.

Copper Mine Cottage

Copper Mine Cottage will be featured on Inside Selling Houses Australia New Beginnings as a follow up to the make over of my Church property in Ellalong, NSW. (Selling Houses Australia Season 16 episode 1). Built between 1846 and 1847 by the SA Mining Association and designed by G.S Kingston. The ‘Thames Street Cottages’ are some of the first buildings to be built in Burra, and are a fine example of some of the earliest residential buildings that still remains in South Australia.

Butterworth Mill

Once the local flour mill built in 1874 Beautifully restored into a magnificent B & B suitable for couples, families or larger groups. Please note this is very open plan living designed on open mezzanine floors with shared spaces so it can be quite loud and privacy is not a strong point. Please note it is not suitable for young children or people with mobility issues due to the many stairs and open balconies.
