No. 11 is located in the heart of the old town of Matera, the Sassi. The breathtaking view has been featured in several films, such as James Bond, the Passion of Christ and Ben-Hur. This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. Grotta confort nei Sassi

All'interno di un hotel diffuso nei Sassi di Matera, in questa camera in grotta si accede dal terrazzo comune attraverso un’ampia porta finestra. E’ un alcova interamente scavata nel tufo. Estremamente accogliente anche solo per la conformazione, cava e tondeggiante si presenta quasi come un utero materno. Il bagno, se pur piccolo è completo di bidet e doccia. E’ dotata di aria condizionata, tv, mini-bar e wifi gratuito. Nel costo della grotta è inclusa una ricca e speciale colazione a buffet.

A solo 1,5 km dal centro, Torre Gigliano fu costruita nel XII secolo ai piedi dell’altopiano delle Murge, è immersa in una distesa di ulivi nell’agro di Ruvo di Puglia, paese ricco di storia. Utilizzata come torre di avvistamento e come osservatorio astronomico, la dimora è arricchita da una scala a chiocciola in pietra, unica nel suo genere e di straordinaria bellezza.
