The Roosevelt

I built this cabin in 1989, this property has a lot of history, it was part of the land that my father in law acquired from the Roosevelt program, I believe that was in 1932, he was one of the few original settlers. we have 25 acres we are in process of making walking trail that will wind back and forth through the entire property. will be a good chance of seeing all kind of wildlife including deer turkey, squirrels and all kind of birds. Welcome to “The Gambrel House” a vintage 1970’s California architecture inspired retreat. If you’re looking for a weekend getaway from the city to enjoy some quiet time or a small campfire, this is the place! There is plenty of room for 1 or 2 families but still has a cozy vibe. Enjoy the large deck with a view of a lake or the side yard with fire pit. Close to FDR state park, the Flint River and Warm Springs Georgia.
