Within walking distance of bars, restaurants, coffeehouses, bakeries, and local ski and snowmobile trails our guest home is a perfect place to explore all the Keweenaw peninsula has to offer. Guests have 24/7 access to the host, when necessary, as I live in the detached main house.

Queen sized bed with additional pullout couch (about full sz) and toddler bed.

A spa in the heart of the Keweenaw

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Stay in the heart of Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula, not far from beautiful Lake Superior, Copper Harbor, and downtown Calumet's National Historic Park. We have added a “spa” room in our basement that has a large steam room/sauna, a Jacuzzi whirlpool tub and full bathroom. Our house does not have a TV but we do have awesome Spectrum wifi. There’s also in floor heat and central air conditioning! Sorry no pets.

Welcome to a century old mining house! A Very comfortable home with a large double lot. Located in the middle of paradise with Lake Superior not far from us in any direction. Less than a 1/2 mile from the main snowmobile/Atv trail, close to Mont Ripley, Swedetown, Mont Bohemia. We are centrally located between Houghton (20 miles away), Copper Harbor (25 miles away) and Calumet (5 miles). A great value.

This special place, located next door to the store Birds Eye, is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Located directly off US-41, it is the perfect location to visit all things Keweenaw. If you are attending an event at one of our many schools in the area, exploring the Copper Country, or need some extra space when visiting relatives, Birds Eye Rental is the perfect place.

Our home is centrally located in the heart of the Keweenaw. It’s an old mining house that we’ve just recently renovated, so we’re still working on getting it to be at its best for our guests. Historical sites and a wide variety of attractions are found near here, such as: hiking and biking trails, ATV and snowmobile trails (one comes out right across the road), museums, restaurants, and more.
