Bonsai Bunkhouse Off Grid Eco friendly Tiny Cabin

The Bonsai Bunkhouse, located in beautiful Jordan River, B.C, is an off-grid, 150 sq ft eco-friendly, tiny home. Located in a quiet corner of our property, situated in a Japanese garden inspired setting, which we built using mainly reclaimed and recycled materials. The cabin has a king bed in the upper loft and the banquette below turns into a queen bed. Our property is located within a minute drive from the Juan De Fuca Trailhead (China Beach) as well as the beaches of Jordan River.

Views and Beach Access: The Cottage at Wren Point

Completely renovated in 2018, this oceanfront cottage with wraparound deck, large windows, viewing platform and pebble beach access oozes seaside charm. Relax by the wood burning fireplace, prepare fresh meals in the new open-concept kitchen (stainless-steel appliances including dishwasher, quartz countertops and porcelain sink) or on the BBQ outside. Serve up to 6 at the dining table with views of the ocean. Go to sleep in fresh new beds with the soothing sound of the surf.

Take in the ocean view of the Sooke Basin and the mountains of Washington state across the strait of Juan De Fuca. Enjoy a visit from our dog, Argo, who lives on the property and loves our guests. Ocean front West Coast retreat located 40 meters above the surf, bordering China Beach. Enjoy beach fires, forest walks, hiking, mushroom forging and surfing. A short intermediate private trail will take you down to the beach. The 560 square foot cabin is set back on the property, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Juan de Fuca Straight. Cozy up by the wood fire in this cozy 1 king bed cabin or have a bath in the outdoor tub and enjoy the breathtaking views!

Stay in and relax, or walk down the trail through the forest will find you at the ocean where you can watch the waves,  sunsets or continue walking up to China Beach. The location is quiet, safe, and comfortable.
