In prossimità della casa: le terme romane di Santa Venera al pozzo, "Acqua grande" (una caratteristica spiaggia di ciottoli vulcanici), la riserva naturale della Timpa e quella marina dell'isola Lachea. La posizione strategica permette di raggiungere in breve tempo luoghi di interesse quali l'Etna, Taormina e la città di Catania. Ad Acireale c'è la stazione ferroviaria e il servizio di autobus.
