Remodeled farmhouse across the street from scenic Watauga Lake. The main house features a living and dining area, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, fully equipped kitchen and large bath with tub. There is a 3 person hot tub in an enclosed patio. From the patio, there is a set of stairs that takes you to the one bedroom "tiny house" with queen bed, tv and desk, a party hut with garage door that opens to the deck and upper patio. Party hut features a 70 inch tv, 1 bedroom with bath and kitchen.

There is a queen bed in the main bedroom as well as a queen size bed in the semi-private loft. Bear Cabin sleeps 4 adults.

Watauga River Cottage in Johnson City, TN

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly water front river cottage (Approximately 1,700sf)! Bring your fishing pole and relax! We have Kayaks and life jackets available upon request at no charge (life jackets required!). Enjoy some time on the hammocks by the river or step into the hot tub on the deck over looking the river. Please note we do have a video camera overlooking the driveway as well as overlooking the stairway and river bank below the river cottage.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay in Roan Mountain. Nestled on 36 acres with access to Doe River. Fly fish, build a fire, hike the Roan Mountain Balds, visit Elk River Falls, and enjoy running and biking on Old Railroad Grade Rd which used to be the Old Tweetsie Railroad and follows the Doe for miles! Soak in the Hottub after a long hike! The river path is across the yard. It’s about 100 yards from the house. Perfect for tubing and swimming
