It's located in the village of Allithwaite, just 1.5 miles from the picturesque Cartmel, famous for its races and wonderful pubs, and restaurants. There is a driveway for easy parking. The rear garden, shared with the main house, has comfortable furniture. The single owner has the main house, though she is often away. Local amenities include a corner shop and a pub.

The medieval village of Cartmel is a 15 minute walk away, via public footpath through the surrounding fields or country lanes. Famous for its 12th century Priory, 2 Michelin starred restaurants & delicious sticky toffee pudding. The Edwardian town of Grange is a 5 minute drive with plenty of amenities and a lovely promenade walk. The southern end of Lake Windermere is a 12 minute drive.

We are just far enough from the villiage centre to be peaceful and relaxing. Tea and coffee is provided together with a welcoming drink. We also provide a free permit for on street Parking just outside the front door.

Perfectly located to access The Lakes and the medieval village of Cartmel. Cosy log stove, Wifi and private car park. Close to all the amenities of Cartmel and it’s popular racecourse and Grange-over-Sands, with a short drive to Windermere and Coniston. Get a real sense of the beautiful South Lakes area, with its rolling countryside, hilltop view points and lots of woodland and coastal walks on the doorstep.
