The Roosevelt

I built this cabin in 1989, this property has a lot of history, it was part of the land that my father in law acquired from the Roosevelt program, I believe that was in 1932, he was one of the few original settlers. we have 25 acres we are in process of making walking trail that will wind back and forth through the entire property. will be a good chance of seeing all kind of wildlife including deer turkey, squirrels and all kind of birds. Comfort is our goal starting with nice beds/linens, a fully stocked kitchen & the office space has a large desk, monitor & keyboard if you need to work while here. Less than 5 min to shops, US 80, I-185 or Alabama; uptown, South Commons & Synovus Park are 10 min away, & you can be at Fort Benning in 15/20. Standing Boy Mountain Bike Trails are < 5 miles away. We are dog friendly & our large yard has plenty of room to play!

A short drive to Callaway Gardens & Roosevelt Park. Few people even know it exists except the owners whose family has occupied this land since 1835 . An hour South of Atlanta, the cabin is not primitive, it has all the modern convenience sitting on a 20 ac tract with bigger tracts of land adjoining. I have a five person sleep accommodation but if you are a larger family I can make an allowance. It is a very safe area and we are available if you need us.
