It’s also the only place in Belize that gives you a glimpse into Belize’s past. It’s also the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Centrally located and just off the highway makes this an excellent place to stay for a few nights. We are super close to the ATM cave road too! Ananda Guesthouse, a family-owned, located in the village of Bullet Tree, just a 5 miles out from San Ignacio Town, easily accessible by local taxi. Our guesthouse provides an escape from the hustle of town life. Surrounded by birds, trees, and wildlife, it creates an enchanting retreat. Cohune Palms River Cabanas: Agouti Cabana

Our most spacious cabana, the Agouti stays cool with a newly thatched roof and high ceiling fan. Here you will find a little piece of paradise nestled in the jungle alive with the melodious sounds of tropical birds and the gentle sound of the Mopan River flowing close by. There is a large deck built over the river - perfect for doing yoga, swinging on the rope swing into the river for a swim, or just enjoying the view. A restaurant with excellent local cuisine is open for guests.

Parrot Nest Lodge is truly a unique tropical experience. Close to all the adventurous tours, and very close to San Ignacio, while having a distinctive jungly feel. Heliconia is a small garden cabin with a private deck. It has a double bed, a fan, 110w plugs (electricity 24/7), and multiple shared bathrooms (with hot/cold water) that are located nearby. Listed room rates are for accommodations only. Dinner at US$18 and Breakfast at US$8 can be ordered onsite.
