The cottage is purpose built from recycled materials and consists of two bedrooms, one with an ensuite and a second separate bathroom. Both bedrooms have French doors opening on to the wraparound verandah so you can lie in bed and admire the view, listen to the birdsong or just enjoy the silence. The cottage is set back from the road in its own garden with fruit trees and lavender. Two tables on the verandah enable relaxed dining and all day sun. Enjoy the open fire on colder days.

Our comfortable little studio unit is set at the back of our property, providing you with the privacy to enjoy coffee in the morning sun with the native birds . It is part of a sustainability project with money earned from this listing going into planting land damaged by cyclone Gabriel, with natives. Situated just five minutes drive from Havelock North village and set adjacent to the Te Mata Peak park where you can enjoy the local walking, mountain biking tracks and must-see views

Paratu Cottage is in a very quiet location with the option of strolling over the farm for the more energetic. Basic pantry items supplied in the cottage AND a Nespresso coffee machine. Winter Heating- There is a log burner in the cottage that will heat the whole house. There is also plenty of firewood on hand to keep it going for you, for colder weather.
