Mekong Cottage is located by the Mekong River in Chiang Khan, Loei. It is designed by Somluk Pantiboon, pottery artist from Doi Din Dang in Chiang Rai. It's environmental and family friendly property. The house is built with double-bricks locally made, and rendered with mud & straws. High ceiling, lots of doors and windows and veranda stimulate the airflow. Located by the beautiful Mekong River, it is very pleasant and peaceful. Upstarts have a closed outside area build with inspiration from Bali. The house is build with a soft minimalistic touch in a quiet sideroad to walking street. Here you can enjoy coffee or tea in the soft bean bag area, the front terrace, the sofa or the garden. For kids there are games to enjoy in the sofa area.
